Solid Ash Wood Platform Sofa with Memory Foam
Designed around the calm proportions of Japanese-inspired interiors, this low-profile platform sofa combines substantial solid wood construction with a relaxed, modular seating concept.
Rather than concealing the structure beneath layers of upholstery, the design makes the wood platform an essential part of the furniture. A broad solid ash wood base creates the architectural foundation, while softly upholstered cushions introduce warmth, texture and everyday comfort.
The result is a sofa with a distinctly grounded presence: substantial enough to anchor a large living room, yet visually restrained enough to work beautifully in minimalist, contemporary, Japandi and vintage-inspired interiors.
Built Around Solid Ash Wood
The structural foundation of this sofa is solid ash wood.
Ash is used throughout the solid-wood structure, allowing the natural grain and character of the material to remain visible rather than hiding the frame behind a fully upholstered shell.
This exposed construction gives the sofa much of its visual identity. The broad wooden platform, clean horizontal lines and substantial proportions create the feeling of permanent furniture rather than a lightweight modular system.
Mortise-and-Tenon Wood Joinery
The wood structure uses mortise-and-tenon joinery, a traditional furniture-building method based on interlocking wooden components.
It is an important distinction on a premium sofa because the wood frame is not simply decorative. The structure itself forms a visible and functional part of the design.

Water-Based Wood Finish
The exposed ash wood is finished using a water-based finishing process.

Memory-Foam Comfort
The standard seating configuration uses memory foam cushioning with a medium firmness.
That balance is particularly appropriate for the sofa's relaxed platform design: cushioned enough for long periods of lounging, while retaining enough structure to prevent the seating experience from feeling excessively soft.
The broad seat and generously proportioned cushions are designed for a more informal way of sitting — upright when needed, but equally comfortable for reading, stretching out, conversation or relaxed everyday lounging.

Textured Cotton-Linen Upholstery

Unless confirmed separately before ordering, standard delivery does not include:

Furniture may arrive in multiple protected packages or modules. The customer is responsible for confirming that every package can pass through the entrance, hallways, stairs and elevator before ordering.

How long does delivery take?
Made-to-order furniture — Sea Freight
The estimated total manufacturing and delivery timeline is 45–55 days from order confirmation. This estimate includes manufacturing and international delivery.
Once production is completed, your order will be prepared and dispatched for shipping.
Smaller items — Air Shipping
Estimated delivery is 7–21 days from order confirmation, including preparation, depending on your location.
Delivery times are estimates and may be extended by customs clearance, port congestion, carrier schedules, or other logistics events.

When will I receive my tracking information?
You will normally receive an order confirmation email within 20–30 minutes after placing your order.
Once your order has shipped and tracking becomes available, a tracking link will be sent to you by email.
My order is marked as delivered, but I have not received it. What should I do?
This situation is rare. Please allow 24–48 hours, as some carriers may mark a shipment as delivered shortly before the final drop-off.
If your order still has not arrived after this period, contact us and we will assist you with the carrier.

Can I modify or cancel my order?
For made-to-order furniture, cancellation is accepted only before production begins. Once production has started, the order can no longer be cancelled.
For in-stock items, cancellation is accepted only before the order has been dispatched.
Please contact us as soon as possible so we can confirm whether your request can still be accommodated based on the current status of your order.
What does “Unfulfilled” mean?
“Unfulfilled” means your order has been successfully received and is currently being prepared, in production, or awaiting shipment.
Once the order ships, its status will change to “Fulfilled” and tracking details will be provided when available.
Why was my order cancelled?
In rare cases, an order may be cancelled because payment cannot be verified or a security review flags the transaction.
If this occurs, please contact us before placing the order again so we can review the situation with you.
Returns & Refunds
What if my item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or not as described?
Please contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 7 calendar days after delivery, and provide your order number along with clear photos or, where helpful, videos of the product and packaging.
If the issue is confirmed, Androf will provide an appropriate resolution in accordance with applicable law.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, replacement parts, replacement, partial refund, full refund, or another mutually agreed solution.
If a return is required, Androf will arrange the return directly or reimburse reasonable, pre-approved return shipping costs.
Can I return an item if I change my mind?
Change-of-mind returns may be requested within 30 calendar days after delivery, including for made-to-order furniture.
The item must be unused, in its original condition, and, where reasonably possible, in its original packaging.
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs and any safe-return packaging required for a change-of-mind return.
